Advice & Counsel

We counsel clients regarding major employment events such as joining (individually or as part of team), moving within an organization, navigating the impact of lay-offs, leaving a job, and starting new ventures.

As advisors and counselors, we empower our clients to confidently confront their employer’s discriminatory conduct involving race, national origin, pregnancy, disability, gender, sexual orientation, age, and marital status; as well as employer’s contractual breaches, and violations of corporate policies.

We also provide advice and counsel on issues related to FINRA's Form U-5 and for clients under internal investigation.

Negotiation of Agreements

We represent private and public company executives and other professionals in the drafting and negotiation of: employment and severance agreements; offer letters, retention agreements, restrictive covenants, and equity-based compensation agreements.

Dispute Resolution

We represent clients in federal and state courts and arbitration, including FINRA, litigating claims involving discrimination, breach of contract, unpaid compensation, and restrictive covenants. We are experienced in alternate dispute resolution, including mediation of employment disputes.

Select Employers

We serve as employment law general counsel to select employers, providing advice and counsel regarding compliance with employment laws, preparation of policies and procedures, offer letters, agreements to protect employer assets, and conduct sexual harassment and discrimination awareness training. We provide day-to-day counseling involving all aspects of the employment life cycle and handle related litigation.
